Founder and CEO
Having lived in a dozen countries, Syed is a culturally diverse individual. He came to the US in 2001 to complete a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Binghamton University. Since 2003, he has been an entrepreneur. He’s been involved in every aspect of developing, launching, marketing, and growing delivery systems of health care for brands including Pfizer, Novartis, and Noven. Maintaining high customer satisfaction has always been a career focus. Now his focus is on a health care service that he has a personal connection with: Enable My Child. Even with a doctor for a father, his difficulties weren’t diagnosed as stemming from ADHD until he was an adult. His goal is to help children with social, cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and developmental disorders get professional treatment that sets them up for success while they’re young.
Chief Technology Officer
Matthew received a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from the Thomas J. Watson School of Engineering at Binghamton University. His work has been featured on NBC and in Forbes and other publications. He has led large health care engineering projects, including the development of educational software platforms. He has assisted in solving Medicare Part D issues for seniors. In addition, he has developed a medical device that contains patients’ pertinent medical information, thereby making it available during emergency situations. Since 2003, Matthew has been a pioneer in the health care technology industry. He has redefined how we use computer technology to solve real-life challenges. Believing that science and technology are best used to make our lives easier, he solves health care problems from a technology standpoint for EMC.
Director of Occupational Therapy
Shelli received her Master of Education degree in special education from the University of Louisville. She earned her doctorate in occupational therapy from Eastern Kentucky University. Since 1998, she has dedicated her career to pediatrics and mental health. She has worked in numerous pediatrics practice settings, such as Neonatal Intensive care Unit (NICU), Acute Care pediatrics, Early Intervention, and in various school settings. Since 2005, she has operated her own successful business. She also coordinates evaluation teams for the New Jersey Early Intervention System and provides training to new therapists. Her interests include early childhood development and working with children with autism and Down syndrome. Shelli has earned a distinguished reputation within the mental health community as well as with local government health lawmakers and the media. Considered one of the most knowledgeable experts in her field in the US, she is often consulted for her opinion on public policy changes. She’s made TV and radio appearances as an expert on children’s mental health. She has also researched and published articles on the need for access to proven and affordable therapy services. Her publications concerning how this could be achieved online help make her the perfect fit for Enable My Child (EMC).
Director of Speech Therapy
Jeanie’s passion for helping children as a Speech Language Pathologist serves as a foundation of some of our core values at EMC. She received both her Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Central Florida. Since 2003, Jeanie has worked as a Speech Pathologist and Clinical Manager with children aged birth through 22 years within Early Intervention and the school setting. Jeanie is a proud and active member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association as well as professional groups for Augmentive and Assistive Technology and Administration and Supervision. She has served as a member of an inter-disciplinary team regarding the role of Speech Pathologists in the school setting and supporting the teacher within the classroom setting with data collection, intervention strategies and ideas. Jeanie enjoys completing continuing education classes to implement new studies and techniques into her therapy sessions. When Jeanie is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son and dogs.
Director of Physical Therapy
Lisa is a graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She has both a master’s degree and a doctorate in physical therapy. Specializing in pediatrics, she’s been practicing physical therapy in various pediatric settings since 2002. She’s always excited and enthusiastic to play a role in improving and restoring function that may change a child’s life.
Director, Global Business Development
Amy Smith is an occupational therapist with over 13 years of experience in the school setting. Amy has founded her own pediatric website to provide free ideas and resources to parents, therapists, and school personnel who work with special needs children. Amy has led numerous professional workshops nationally on various topics within the field of occupational therapy and special education. She is passionate about therapy and is responsible for integrating therapy into new and innovative areas domestically and abroad.
Director, Case Management
Samantha is 20 years experience in development, implementation, evaluation, and supervision of quality improvement, and clinical case management. She currently leads the case management staff in handling all the referrals we get from schools.
